After trying 2 other agents, I bought my first house (2010) with Bret, which I sold 6 years later through him and bought my next house (2016) with him as well. Bret knows houses and property well. He can walk through a house and tell you any problems, just as good as an inspection. He also told me what would be the right renos I should do, which ones add a lot of value but don’t cost much and which ones offer little value and cost a lot. I consulted him several times before and during my reno. He was all in for the full service for selling, in that I mean he strongly encouraged to do things that increased value without spending a lot to prep the house, as well as remove items that may depreciate the value. I liked that he encouraged a stager as a must and he found one that was very affordable, $1,000s less than what I expected. I was extremely impressed with the end sales result (16 offers). I believe a lot of this was Bret’s market philosophy and specific showing times which increased demand for the home. Overall, I found Bret (and his team) to be very professional, highly committed and works hard to please. I expect I am a little more demanding than most and I also appreciated his patience with me. :). Would absolutely hire him again.
